Elana Meyers Taylor, 41, is a highly decorated bobsledder with a higher purpose. “I’m in this sport to glorify God,” she said in 2014. Meyers Taylor prays before every race, tries to live in a Christ-like way, and hopes to help others “come to Christ,” she said. As the mother of two children with special needs, the athlete also wants people to know that she and her husband have joy-filled lives.

Jadin O’Brien, the bobsled partner of Meyers Taylor at Milan-Cortina, is a devout Catholic who relies on her faith to face all types of challenges. As a child, she overcame a rare condition called PANDAS; the symptoms were so baffling that her parents used an exorcist. “Nothing happened [as a result of the exorcism], because I wasn’t possessed,” explained O’Brien, now 23. The bobsledder, a former track and field champion at Notre Dame, said, “Athletics has helped build my faith by putting me in situations where I can put what I believe into practice.”

Sam Morse has been on the U.S. national ski team for a decade, but 2026 marks his first trip to the Olympics. The 29-year-old Christian has said, “My faith is my life.” Morse co-founded FAST (Faith and Ski Training) Camp for teens, which melds race-training with faith-training. “My goal is to be a loyal servant of my Savior and proclaim his name from the highest mountains,” said Morse, whose favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 12:1.
