Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin, 31, is back in the Olympics for Team USA. He grew up in a Christian home and has credited faith in Christ with helping him play hockey pressure-free. “My identity’s not in this sport,” Slavin said. “My relationship with Christ is the only thing that doesn’t change.” Slavin and his wife, Kylie, adopted a daughter from Africa and are advocates for Christian adoption.
