The Ramp said it will be “holding spaces for mourning, prayers, and reflection instead of its previously scheduled events that included College Days and Spring Ramp. The events were cancelled, leadership said, “out of respect for those affected and the seriousness of this situation.”

“We are committed to hold our team members to the highest standards and are unwavering in our commitment to protect minors and ensure a safe environment for those entrusted to our care,” the statement said. “The safety and wellbeing of those in our community, especially minors, remains our chief priority. We do not tolerate abuse of any kind and are committed to transparency, accountability, and care for those affected.”
On Wednesday, the Hamilton Police Department issued a statement saying that the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Bureau of Investigation is handling the investigation into the allegations of Bentley’s “inappropriate conduct.”
