Touré Roberts described the emotions he felt after receiving a call from his daughter that his wife needed immediate medical help.

“Not gonna lie. I got shook to my core Saturday. In between book tour runs for Knowing, I was home for a beat with the family,” he shared, referring to his latest book. “The day went from a happy, love-filled moment as we saw our teenager off to prom, to news of a freak accident in our backyard that threatened the life of my entire universe.”
Roberts said he had to “keep it all together to problem-solve in real time, get my wife the help she needed, and keep my family calm, while inside, I was crushed by so many feelings and emotions moving so rapidly I couldn’t keep up with them.”
The pastor continued, “The mission was singular. Get my wife to good, at all costs. By the grace of God, we saw a miracle play out right in front of us.”
Roberts informed his social media followers that his wife is at home resting and recovering and expressed gratitude for the prayers they have received.
“My wife is home, resting and recovering, with an army of love and support surrounding her. She’s also covered by the prayers of our Potter’s House family of churches, leaders from around the world, and so many of you,” he said. “Thank you for your heartfelt prayers and words of encouragement. We feel every single one. God bless you. Much love.”
