Jackie Hill Perry—A Bold and Transparent Ministry
Throughout her ministry, Jackie Hill Perry has been outspoken about her passionate love of Jesus. Perry came to know Christ as a teenager and shares his truth through a variety of art — writing, music, and poetry. She’s an acclaimed author and speaker who focuses on authentic and bold living.
As part of her own journey out of a gay lifestyle, Perry says that God is not calling gay people to be straight. She has been open and honest about her sin and God’s deliverance.
Perry co-hosts a podcast with her husband, Preston Perry. In a recent episode of “30 Minutes with the Perrys,” they discussed how to respond when friends leave Christianity.
Most recently, Perry has publicly apologized for promoting the Enneagram as an effective tool for self-discovery. She now claims the Enneagram is demonic and should never be used.
Perry continues to write and speak to local and national audiences. She has written “Jude: Contending for the Faith in Today’s Culture,” “Gay Girl, Good God: The Story of Who I Was, and Who God Has Always Been,” and “Holier Than Thou: How God’s Holiness Helps Us Trust Him.”
