“I woke up in the closet, and he had my pants down, and was giving me a blowjob,” Davis said. “I pushed him off as best as I was able in that state, but he pushed me down, and then I punched him twice and left.”

Tait eventually apologized for the incident, Davis said, and claimed that Tait was “relentlessly love-bombing me, trying to talk his way back in the door. He apologized to me for what happened, but never got into specifics, it was more of a broad statement.”
Despite describing Tait as “manipulative” for convincing him that the incident was Davis’ “fault,” Davis said that he forgave Tait for the alleged encounter in the hopes that the accomplished Christian singer would help him start a Christian music label.
Their friendship continued until 2012. One night while in Tait’s kitchen, Davis claims that he was propositioned with money by Tait. Davis alleges that Tait texted him a picture of $5,000 with a message that Davis recalls to be something to the effect of: “This could be yours if you let me suck you off and c*m in your a**.”
Davis claims he quickly called his mother to pick him up and never spoke to Tait again.
While he and Tait were friends, Davis was sentenced to probation for stealing his mother’s credit card and then served five months in prison for violating his probation through drug use.
Tait Allegedly Exposes Himself in Front of a 12-Year-Old Boy
Israel Anthem has also elected to come forward with his story. Anthem, who is the grandchild of the late gospel music legend Dottie Rambo, claims that in 2001, Tait exposed himself in front of the then 12-year-old Anthem inside a public bathroom.
The alleged incident took place while Anthem and his family were eating at Nashville, Tennessee, restaurant. Tait walked in, saw Anthem’s family, and came over to say “Hi,” Anthem told The Guardian.
Anthem stated that he was a huge DC Talk fan and expressed that he was elated when he ran into Tait in the bathroom. The two ended up sharing urinals next to each other.

“He was still at the urinal when I was washing my hands, and as we were talking [about a CD that had just come out]. I noticed his penis was out, and he was facing me, turned away from the urinal,” Anthem claimed. “I thought he was putting his penis away, but then he was rubbing his penis, and making eye contact, while I was talking.”
Anthem alleges that Tait was “visibly aroused” and was “fondling himself” for what seemed like 30-60 seconds. When Anthem returned to his family’s table, a family member, whom Anthem later confided in, recalls the 12-year-old appearing “white as a ghost, absolutely terrified.”
