Chan, who has since gone on to play drums for artists such as Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Lauren Daigle, told TRR that Tait was “flailing his cash around as he walked up and down the bar, telling the bartender what drinks to make.”

Nicole admitted that she had been drinking that night but claims she wasn’t drunk as she got up to make her way back to her room around 1:17 a.m. However, before she could leave, Tait said, “Here, I have a Tequila shot for you, and we’re all going to take it together.”

“Michael Tait has a very charismatic personality,” Nicole said. “He has a way of making you feel like you’re in the insider club, calling you sister or brother, wrapping his arm around you, and making you feel special. I did not know Tait very well, but he had always been friendly on show days.”

“So, when Tait called me over to take a shot with him and Burch, it seemed harmless,” she continued. “I did not feel like I was peer pressured into it. But as a young professional in the industry, I wanted to be liked by these people. One shot seemed harmless. Unfortunately, I have next to no memory after that drink.”

Hotel surveillance footage obtained by TRR corroborates accounts described by multiple witnesses. The footage showed Nicole stumbling to her room, only to be followed by Brewer—who Nicole claimed barely spoke to her at the bar.

The footage showed Nicole being unable to get into her room and subsequently following Brewer into his room. A few minutes later, Tait can be seen knocking on Brewer’s door and Brewer can be seen joining Tait in the hallway. Camera footage shows Tait and Brewer talking and laughing. At one point, Tait can be seen groping Brewer’s crotch. Brewer did not pull away.

Nicole is then seen joining Tait and Brewer in the hallway until Nicole appeared to cling on to Brewer as he carries her into his room. Tait exited and re-entered the room several times, once with Jack Campbell, who entered the room but left moments later. Tait then opened the door, looked down the hallway and went back into the room.

Chan and Jones can later be seen searching for their friend. They asked Germenis to help find Nicole. After agreeing, Germenis can be seen knocking on Brewer’s door as the girls stood down the hallway. When Brewer didn’t immediately answer the door, Germenis knocked a second time. Brewer, shirtless, then opened the door slightly, spoke to Germenis for a few seconds, then closed the door.

Germenis told TRR that Brewer looked “half-drunk” and was asked if he had seen Nicole. According to Germenis, Brewer told him, “No, I haven’t seen her.”

The camera shows Germenis explaining to the women that Brewer said Nicole was with Burch. Chan and Germenis then walked off camera, but Jones stayed outside Brewer’s door. TRR reports that while Chan went to go look for Nicole, Germenis and Jack Campbell spoke in the stairwell. Germenis recalled that Campbell told him, “‘I saw Tait basically watching them have sex,’ or something like that.’”

“Tait is in there right now,” Germenis said. “Yeah…it was the worst thing ever,” Campbell answered. Germenis told TRR that the two of them were in “disbelief” about what was happening.
