Some people, nervous about the sheer shock value of biblical truths, will gently rebuke me with statements like, “Well, we need to make sure our teens aren’t just making an emotional decision for Christ.”

How do you know if you are building your own kingdom and asking God to be a part of it instead of actually building God's kingdom? I believe there are a few questions we need to ask to see whose kingdom we are building.

There are plenty of practical ways to honor Dr. King. Beyond remmbering his legacy on thius special day, we can also honor Dr. King in the following ways.

If forced to make the decision, our church from day one has decided that we will offend the self-seeking Christian before the spiritually seeking non-Christian. I personally believe you can only strategically choose to offend either the self-seeking Christian or the spiritually seeking non-Christian.
