Christmas blues can hit us when we're not looking for them. We may miss a lost loved one, grieve poor choices, or even feel our lives should be better than they are. Whether you have someone to forgive, or need to forgive yourself, don't let the season knock you down.

Now is the time that millions of Americans should rally together to pray for America continually. This type of conviction is motivated by our deep belief in God, His infallible Word, the Bible and our continual longing to see every person in America and the world to experience Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

As I see it, some churches work to be more friendly—and that’s good. Some move beyond being friendly and move to caring—and that’s better.

You and your family are under attack. You probably won’t feel the siege—it’s subtle, seductive and attractive—and that’s why this attack is infinitely more dangerous.

Rather than aiming to “finish” the missionary task, let’s unite under the more modest banner of simply being faithful to the task.

We should expect to experience God’s presence in church but fortunately we don’t have to wait for Sunday to feel closer to God- nor do we need to remain passive – hoping somehow closeness to God might occur-since we are urged to “seek God.”

What does the New Testament gift of prophecy look like when it’s being exercised today?

We must care about the poor because Jesus did. We don’t have a choice. So how can we help the people in our churches minister to the poor?
