Bernard Wigley, who took a recording of the scene of the accident, made a similar comment to Fox 23. “That could have been total destruction…that could have been 12 to 15 cars,” he said. “There could have been fire from the fuel of the plane, cars inflamed, in total chaos, like something you see in a movie.”
Bernard and Annie Wigley are pastors at Thy Kingdom Come Ministries in Melbourne and told Fox 23 that they were praying right before the crash happened. Annie is a nurse and went right to the woman whose car was crushed to see if she was ok.
“We got to see if somebody is hurt, so we run across the street,” said Annie. “It was almost like, I don’t know, the Holy Spirit stopped the traffic, because, you know, cars was coming, but it seemed like it stopped.”

“It was just a scary moment, but God kept us grounded, both of us,” she said, “and we didn’t see what we expect to see, which was somebody that was unconscious or bleeding. So that was a miracle in itself.”
Annie said the woman from the crushed car was in a “daze” and didn’t realize a plane had landed on top of her vehicle. “She knew she was in an accident, but she thought it was a semi truck that hit her,” said Annie.
The two pilots, each 27 years old, were uninjured and no other cars were involved in the crash. The FAA is investigating why the plane went down.
