In the middle of the session, White-Cain turned to Eddie James, a worship artist, a preacher, and the founder of Eddie James Ministries and DreamLife Ministries. DreamLife is a recovery program for high school and college students seeking freedom from addiction, gang life, and living on the streets.
White-Cain asked James how much it costs him per week to take in kids. He told her it takes him about $30,000 to $40,000 per week. “Good,” White-Cain said. “We’re going to raise you some tonight.”
The pastor addressed the objection that raising such a sum that evening would be difficult or impossible. “Do you think [James] goes, ‘Eh, I think that gang member should die. He’s not really a good guy, so I won’t get in the arena and believe God for $30,000’?” she asked.
White-Cain turned to James again and asked him if he grew up rich or with a large inheritance. He replied that he did not and in fact grew up very poor.
“Why would you get in an arena that costs you $30,000 to $40,000 a week for people who aren’t in your blood?” White-Cain asked. “Because that’s why you were sent into the earth and given those vocals and that ability to rescue and raise up warriors, come on, and mighty men and women of God.”
“Thank God, ‘cause, everybody,” she said, “God’s called a lot more Eddie James into this earth. But they just are afraid to get in the arena.”
“We’ll get you $30,000,” White-Cain promised. “We’re gonna get it to you. ‘Cause I’m in my arena. I’m in my arena right now…You see, if everybody’s in their arena, they would have just dropped $30,000 on the stage right now.”
White-Cain continued preaching, at times speaking in tongues, and then said that she wanted to pray over people and had them line up on stage in front of her, starting with pastors. She went through the line, praying for people and at times jabbing at their stomachs. When she did this, some people fell backward and those around them caught them.
A little while later, White-Cain started exhorting people to bring their donations for James to the front. “Get your seed. Get your seed. Everybody bring it. Every single person, bring it. Get a seed right now. I’m going to pray over people. But…something gets released in you when you begin to release something that is sacrificial,” she said. “And I’m talking about a sacrifice. I’m talking about a sacrifice.”
White-Cain told attendees that she was not asking them to give money to enrich herself or because she needed it. “I’m not asking for somebody to buy me a house or car or give me a salary. I don’t take any of that,” she said. “I got a husband and he’s a good one. He’s a real good husband.”

“Come on. Come on. Get in the arena. Get in the arena. I need you to stand. There’s only three envelopes,” said White-Cain. “I’m not moving. I’m not going to lay hands on people till you’re obedient. Get out of your seat. Come on and come bring up a seed. Come bring up a seed. Come bring up a seed.”
“Eddie, don’t worry. You’re going to get it anyway,” she said. “You’re going to get it with or without the people’s obedience. But I got to break some ground up in this place. I got to break it…I’m not doing this ‘cause I need it. I’m doing it to break something off them. I’m doing it to break a mentality.”
“You need a breakthrough,” White-Cain told attendees. “You need things. You need a building. Come on. You need a wedding dress. You need some things, but you’re struggling all the time financially. That’s not the kingdom of God.”
