9. Dawson Knox (Buffalo Bills)

Tight end Dawson Knox, 28, is set to start his seventh season with the Bills. The third-round draft pick out of Ole Miss credits God for his successes and clings to him during hardships. This was especially true in 2022, when Knox’s younger brother died suddenly.
Knox had many questions and felt angry, he told “Sports Spectrum.” At first, he couldn’t fathom “how that [loss] could be good or how that could fall under Romans 8:28,” he said.

Knox said he’s confident he’ll see his brother in heaven one day. His family has endured this experience “solely because of Jesus and his hope he offers us,” he added. “I can’t imagine being someone who doesn’t believe in the Lord and having to walk through something like that.”
