Puppet ministry has huge potential in Sunday school and children’s church. Learn tips for reaching young learners with this exciting kidmin approach.

Children learn best when they’re having so much fun they don’t realize they’re learning! As teachers of God’s Word, our work is cut out for us. So we must get creative in our teaching.

Why Puppet Ministry Is So Effective

Reach all three major learning styles with one simple activity—a Bible puppet theater. First, you share the lesson using finger puppets to tell the story. Your puppet may be the student, and you, the teacher, talk to the puppet.

You tell the puppet the Bible story while asking questions along the way. Your puppet answers with amazement. And when the puppet doesn’t know the answer, it simply asks the class!

Puppet ministry gets children involved. You reach visual learners as they watch the puppets in action. Auditory learners hear the story and can answer questions along the way. Kinesthetic learners thrive as well.
