However, a video of Michelle Duggar having a heated exchange with a reporter has gone viral.

Several Duggar family members have made public remarks about Joseph’s arrest expressing shock, grief, and empathy for the alleged victim. Jill (Duggar) Dillard and her family have published a statement, and Jinger (Duggar) and Jeremy Vuolo addressed the controversy on their podcast.
The Duggar children’s cousin, Amy King, has also given statements directly to media outlets and via her Instagram account. Joy-Anna (Duggar) Forsyth has reportedly addressed the news via her Instagram Stories.
The Daily Mail reported that Josh Duggar, who is currently serving time for receiving and possessing CSAM, made a statement through an attorney expressing sympathy for Joseph and saying Josh understood “the painful reality of how false accusations can destroy a life.”
Jason and Maddie Duggar, who celebrated their one-year anniversary in October, said in their statement:
We are angered by what has happened, and we pray God’s righteous hand and the court system will serve justice in the situation as deserved. Maddie and I have always had a special place in our hearts for the vulnerable around us, and we will continue to do so. To fathom that someone would abuse their authority to harass the innocent is vile.
“We ask that you pray for the victim who has been brave enough to share what has happened,” they said. “We also ask that you pray for [Joseph’s] family at this time, as his children must face the reality of losing a father that should have been a spiritual leader in their lives. We stand with innocent children. Always.”
