Mark Driscoll To Speak at DC ‘Let Us Worship’ Event
Instead of appearing at the official White House faith event on May 17, Driscoll is slated to speak at an independent “Let Us Worship: Roots of Revival” event on May 16. That gathering, held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., is being organized by worship singer Sean Feucht. Other faith leaders scheduled to speak at Feucht’s event include Pastor Greg Locke and author Eric Metaxas.

Speakers at the May 17 “Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving” include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, former cabinet member Dr. Ben Carson, and Pastors Jack Graham, Jentezen Franklin, Samuel Rodriguez, and Jonathan Falwell, among others. Evangelist Franklin Graham will share a message via video. Two Catholic bishops and one Jewish rabbi are on the list.
An April 22 article from Religion News Service indicated that representatives of non-Christian, mainline Christian, and historically Black denominations are “notably absent from the lineup.” It added, “At least two people who were initially rumored to be associated with the event—activist and musician Sean Feucht and Pastor Mark Driscoll—are not on the program.”
