4. Bo Nix (Denver Broncos)

Quarterback Bo Nix hopes to avoid a sophomore slump as he returns to play for the Broncos. Yet he knows, “There’s a lot more to life than football.” In a recent social media post, the athlete said, “I know where my joy and my foundation, I know where everything goes through, and it’s Jesus.”
Nix, who had a strong rookie season, said he can play football more freely and have more fun on the field “because I have my priorities straight.”
Last month, the 25-year-old QB spoke at a Night of Champions event at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. In his message to high school athletes, Nix said he learned from Daniel 1 that he had to decide to be “different from everybody else” rather than just try to fit in.
“You’ve got to have a close, tight circle, guys you can truly count on, and they’ll help you know the truth, know who God is,” said Nix. “You’ve got to be thinking about the right things, or you’re just gonna fall.”
