8. Deandre Hopkins (Baltimore Ravens)

At 33, wide receiver Deandre Hopkins is now with his fifth NFL squad. The three-time first-team All Pro signed a one-year contract with the Ravens in March. Hopkins, who was baptized in 2012 while playing at Clemson, calls faith a “major part of my life.”
Before finding fame on the football field, Hopkins endured tragedy and tough times. His father was killed in a car accident when Hopkins was 5 months old, and his mother, Sabrina Greenlee, was blinded by an acid attack in 2002. Amid the hardships, however, “my mom made sure I knew about God,” Hopkins recalled.
Now Hopkins pays it forward, promoting his mom’s charity work for domestic violence survivors. The athlete also has expressed interest in designing a clothing line for Walmart. Last month, Hopkins posted, “Grew up shopping there, so always thought it would be dope to let kids know it’s cool to have Walmart clothes.”
