2. Kirk Cousins (Atlanta Falcons)

This season’s landing spot for veteran NFL quarterback Kirk Cousins might still be up in the air. One question that isn’t up in the air? In whom the athlete places his trust. Cousins, who turns 37 this month, has been vocal about his Christian faith throughout his long career.
The Michigan State grad—a husband and father of two—spent six seasons with Washington and then another six with Minnesota before signing with Atlanta in 2024. Late last season, Cousins was benched for rookie Michael Penix Jr. and then prayed for him.

At the 2023 Super Bowl Breakfast, where he received the Bart Starr Award for “outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community,” Cousins shared the gospel message.
The QB has credited Christian teammates such as Mack Brown, now retired, for helping him face the stress of football and for sharpening his faith. “The impact [Brown] had on me is how we as Christians should have on one another,” said Cousins.
