“As an artist, it seemed very clear to me that the whole performance was his salvation arc,” Childers said. “Maybe I’m naive, but it seemed like he listed those people off on purpose…no one is beyond redemption.”

“No one is outside of God’s invitation for salvation. I really liked his performance,” she added.
However, award-winning Christian singer-songwriter Rhett Walker questioned TBN’s decision to broadcast Turning Point’s halftime show.
“Something feels off to me,” Walker said. “I don’t like it. And that’s okay. You can. I don’t have to.”
“I think we gotta be very careful with platforms that us, as believers, stand on, and what we attach our name to. And I think TBN missed big on that,” he added. “So, much love. Puerto Ricans are also a real American halftime show. Just can’t vote.”
During an explicit language-laced interview with Joe Rogan in 2024, Kid Rock shared that his pastor is Paula White and told Rogan that he believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
“Jesus and God are everywhere. They’re everywhere,” Kid Rock said. He argued that looking at parts of the world like blooming flowers or one’s own child proves that Jesus is real, adding, “That is Jesus. That is God.”
