L.A. Rams wide receiver and reigning Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp says his Christian faith keeps him grounded in a tough, often unpredictable sport. “I couldn’t imagine stepping onto a football field and not having a full body-mind-spirit belief that I am exactly where I am supposed to be and doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing,” he says. “My faith in God and his plan for me allows me to play freely without doubt or fear.”

Kupp’s Crown Merch clothing line features items that reference Bible verses such as 1 Corinthians 9:25—“Do it to get a crown that will last forever.”

When the wide receiver signed an extension with the Rams in June, he posted: “God is good. On the mountains and in the valleys, He has been with us every step of the way. While we have been afforded the privilege to play such an amazing game, it is with humility we know each moment here is intentional, albeit temporary. We pray each day to be a light in this world, filled and guided by His spirit, and to make the most of every day according to his will. For His glory!”
