Actor and and former NFL player Terry Crews has spoken openly about how surrendering his life to Jesus has helped him in his battle with pornography and anger, as well as how his faith been crucial to saving his marriage. 

“We are an example of a miracle,” said Crews, speaking of his marriage in a July 5 interview with Carey Nieuwhof. “I’m beyond grateful that I did get my family back.”

In an April 2022 interview with Trevor Noah, Crews explained that he had to go through a journey of learning a different view of masculinity, one that was not defined by his anger. Through therapy he learned, “You can be angry and sin not. It’s a biblical phrase. And the whole thing was, righteous anger is a good thing.”
